This would be great for sharing files across a home network without the hassle of turning on the sharing computer. I do not care much for accessing my device remotely but it would be nice if I can share photos or videos with family and friends instead of uploading them to youtube or emailing them.Īlthough I have no personal experience with this device, from everything I’ve read, it appears to be a samba-based 4 x USB NAS. Is this the best solution for me ? or can I do better with something else ? I am looking to connect my external hard drive to my wireless network so I can move any photos or videos to the external hard drive easily without having to plug the hard drive to my laptop, the wife’s laptop, or my PC (all are at home).
